“Powerful Voices” Youth Improv Workshops Arrive in Trenton

No matter your age or stage in life, confidence and communication are skills which will take you far. When we have the ability to connect with our peers and powerfully articulate our opinions and ideas, we have the chance to persuade others and make our voices heard. If the child in your life is ready to level up their leadership and communications capacities, you’ll want to stay tuned for this amazing opportunity.

The Trenton Puerto Rican Community and Friends Organization (TPRCFO) recently announced the launch of their upcoming initiative, Powerful Voices. The Powerful Voices program invites youth ages 10 through 17 to come together to learn the ins and outs of improv and public speaking. The classes will take place from 6pm to 7pm at Mercer County Community College’s Trenton Campus, located at 137 N Broad St, Trenton, NJ 08608. Throughout the workshop, students will have the opportunity to tackle a number of transformative skills, including:

  • Fun acting and improv exercises
  • Public speaking techniques
  • Leadership and communication skills
  • Teamwork
