Children’s Home Society of NJ Honors Blondie’s Debbie Harry and the Burke Foundation at April 6th Event in Princeton

Debbie Harry and Princeton resident James Burke, Chairman of The Burke Foundation, will be recognized at an event celebrating the tenacity and resilience of The Children’s Home Society of New Jersey (CHSofNJ) in improving newborn and childhood well-being since 1894. “One Way or Another,” the 130th annual gala of CHSofNJ is recognizing James Burke for his vision and leadership in making advances to improve the first 1,000 days of life for those in New Jersey’s healthcare deserts. Debbie Harry, better known as a music icon, is also a philanthropist and will share her connection to CHSofNJ and her personal journey as an adoptee. Wakisha Bailey, CBS Philadelphia News reporter, will serve as the master of ceremonies.
