Tune In for a Women’s History Month Movie Night

Come on Barbie, let’s go party! When it comes to planning an epic day with your girls, there’s few activities more fun than tuning out the world as you tune into a marvelous movie. The magic of movies has the power to bring us together as we laugh, cry, and ponder our way through a brand new universe. Film tells a story, touches our hearts, and gives a voice to some of culture’s most critical issues. And with Women’s History Month now underway, there’s no better time to celebrate the women making history on the big screen.

In honor of Women’s History Month, the Trenton Free Public Library will be hosting a screening of the box office hit, “Barbie”. The screening will take place on Tuesday, March 19th from 2:30pm to 5:30pm in the library’s Young Adult Lounge. The Trenton Free Public Library is located in Downtown Trenton at 120 Academy St, Trenton, NJ 08608. This screening is free to attend, so be sure to bring along the whole crew for this afternoon of entertainment. Please do be aware, however, that Barbie is a PG-13 film, so some themes of the film may not be appropriate for younger viewers. This is a fun and free way to see one of the biggest films in recent memory, so be certain to “think pink” and come along for the ride.

Based on the beloved doll of the same name, “Barbie” is a critically acclaimed film which has won the hearts of girls and women all over the world. This girl-powered global phenomenon follows Barbie as she ventures out of Barbieland and navigates the challenges and opportunities of the real world. From the movie’s inspirational plot to the production and everything in between, “Barbie” represents a massive win for women everywhere.
