Trenton Eat Local Club Announces February Meet-Up
Although food is a critical component of our survival, it goes far beyond just a basic tool we need to get by. For millennia, humans have connected over meals to share our lives, our love, and our culture. Food is a universal need, a unifying factor that has the power to overcome what sets us apart. And when we choose to break bread with our friends and neighbors, we take one step closer to a more peaceful, interconnected society. If you’re a resident of the Capital City and are on the hunt for food, fun, and fellowship, the Trenton Eat Local Club is here to help you make that vision a reality.
On Wednesday, February 21st, the Trenton Eat Local Club will once again be convening for their 2nd meetup of the 2024 season. February’s meetup will be hosted at Trenton’s Blue Danube, located at 538 Adeline St, Trenton, NJ 08611. The meetup will begin at 6pm, so be sure to arrive on time to dig into a wonderful meal! Blue Danube is a beloved Trenton eatery which will transport you to the coasts of the Danube River. Combining a distinct blend of Hungarian, Romanian, German, Polish, and Czech influences, guests can look forward to digging into classic dishes such as pierogi, stuffed cabbages, beef goulash, weiner schnitzel, and more. As you cross the threshold of the Blue Danube, your meal will no doubt feel like a mini-vacation as you spend the night cozied up in this European-inspired cafe.
This meetup is hosted by the Trenton Eat Local Club, a devoted group of Trenton foodies on a mission to partake in the best dining this city has to offer. The club inspires Trentonians to connect with others in the community, go outside their comfort zones, and patronize some of the dozens of small businesses and eateries currently in our city. From Trenton’s best BBQ to phenomenal pho and more, as a member of the Trenton Eat Local Club, your tastebuds are certain to go on the journey of a lifetime. The Trenton Eat Local Club is part of the Shop Local campaign run by the Division of Economic Development, the City of Trenton, and Mayor Reed Gusciora.
