Pho Kim (729 Brunswick Avenue) has been chosen by the Trenton Eat Local Club as its favorite restaurant of 2023.  The Club has chosen the Orchid House (134 Hanover Avenue) as their Favorite New Restaurant of 2023.

 Pho Kim “…is unique, the only one of its kind in the area,” said Animal Rescue League volunteer, Jacky Vargas.  “The authenticity of the food is amazing,” said Content Trenton Director Jim Gordon.  “A beef Bahn mi that melts in your mouth. A perfect bit of umami on a cold winter’s day,” said Managing Program Director at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Jennifer Ng’andu

“The Orchid House is an embodiment of a caring community. Elijah and Nicole built a vision that everyone in Trenton, NJ deserves beauty, joy, and healthy, delicious food,” Jennifer Ng’andu also said.

Runners Up for 2023 included Cooper’s Riverview (beautiful view of the Delaware) and Royal Cakes and Café (new downtown location).

The Trenton Eat Local Club meets up at a different restaurant every month to try new food and visit old favorites, keeping our money in the City of Trenton.
