Hey batter, batter, swing! If the child in your life has big dreams of baseball in the future, the time to begin pursuing those goals is now. Whether your child has never stepped up to bat or has been in the baseball diamond since babyhood, there is nothing quite like watching a child discover the sport that they love.

Although the summertime feels a ways away, in the blink of an eye, we’ll once again be back in the full swing of summer fun. And if you’re still trying to figure out how your child will spend this much-anticipated season. there’s few better spots than in the center of the action in the baseball diamond. The 2024 Youth Baseball Camps will be held on the following dates:

• June 25 & 26 (Tuesday/Wednesday) = $100
• July 23 (Tuesday) = $75
• August 6 (Tuesday) = $75

Camps are open to students ages 7 through 12 years old. As a part of your registration, all participating students will receive a hat voucher and a ticket to Trenton Thunder game on the night of camp. When preparing for camp, all attending students should plan to bring their own bat and glove along with any other gear they feel they might need for the drills. If your child is enrolling alongside friends and wants to be placed in the same group, please be certain to notate this arrangement in your registration. This year’s camp incudes both one-day and two-day options. Depending on which length you choose, guests can look forward to the following activities:

• One-day camp: Campers will rotate between different stations including pitching, fielding, batting, baserunning and outfielding. A brief break for water will happen in between each rotation. Following drills, campers will participate in game scrimmages. Following the scrimmages, there will be an autograph session on the concourse. At the end of the day, students will also have the opportunity to pick up their hats from the Merchandise Director at the Merchandise Table on the concourse following Camp.
• Two-day camp: 
  • Day #1: Campers will rotate between different stations including pitching, fielding, batting, baserunning and outfielding. A brief break for water will happen in between each rotation.
  • Day #2:  Campers will rotate between different stations and finish with scrimmage games — breaks will be mixed in. There will be an autograph session with the Thunder players and coaches immediately following the conclusion of day 2 of camp. At the end of camp, students will be able to pick up their hats from the Merchandise Director at the Merchandise table.
