On Wednesday, August 30th, members of the public are invited to join the James R. Halsey Foundation for the Arts as their acting and photography students show off their incredible work during this year’s Summer Showcase. The festivities will begin at 5:00pm at the JRH Foundation’s headquarters, located at 535 E. Franklin Street, Trenton, NJ, 08611. Admission to this event is free, so be certain to bring the whole family to support these up and coming artists. The festivities for this much-anticipated event will include a gallery showing, live performances, and light refreshments for you to enjoy throughout the evening.
If you do plan on attending, advanced registration is required. You can RSVP online here: Register – Summer Showcase. Instructions for registration are available in both English and Spanish. As this event is open to the public, all family, friends, and supporters are encouraged to come out and enjoy the films these students have spent all summer pouring their hearts and souls into. In addition to film, guests will also have the opportunity to hear from the JRH Foundation’s acting students, who have each selected a monologue to share with attendees on the night of the showcase.
Per Joseph Halsey, CEO of the JRH Foundation for the Arts, “This year is the second year of running the Summer Acting & Photography program here at JRH which has fully exceeded our expectations. We are so excited to showcase our student’s talents in the different fields of art along with the newest addition of the Photography español class, a program specifically for Non- English speaking students who have recently entered the United States.”
