Get ready to jam, because New Jersey’s premier hip hop and urban arts festival is returning to the Capital City!

Each year, when the end of summer rolls around, that can only mean one thing: it’s almost time for the Jersey Fresh Jam! On Saturday, August 19th, one of the community’s most anticipated festivals will once again be underway. Festivities will kick off at 12pm at the TerraCycle headquarters, located at 1 TerraCycle Way, Trenton, NJ 08638. What originally began in 2005 as a small-scale regional festival has quickly evolved to one of the most respected, highly acclaimed hip hop festivals on the East Coast. All are welcome to be a part of this beloved event, so be sure to bring the entire family for a day of exploring the urban arts. Please note that in the case of rain, the event will be held on the following date on Sunday, August 20th.

The festival is certain to be a feast for the senses, with the event featuring a number of both visual and musical artists. All throughout the campus, guests can watch on as the region’s premier aerosol artists transform the walls of TerraCycle and adorn them with their signature creations. Each artist has a distinct style of their own, so be sure to explore all that these incredible creatives have to offer.

In addition to some graffiti greatness, guests will also have the opportunity to enjoy the musical stylings of some of the area’s top DJs, emcees, bands, and more. Putting the “jam” in Jersey Fresh Jam, there’s no doubt that these talented performers will offer the perfect soundtrack to score a beautiful summer afternoon. This year’s event will include two stages, with the following performers featured:

• MAIN STAGE: Featured performers include – It’s Just Ahmad, Four Elements & Beyond, DJ J-Ronin feat. Frank Knight and Sav Killz, L.I.F.E. Long and DJ A-Sharp, The Amorphous Blob Orchestra, and DJ Emskee. This year’s headliner will be Cormega.
• BATTLE STAGE: This stage will feature 2v2 Breaking Battles, hosted by Break Infinite. Winners will receive $400, and the runner up will receive $100. It is $10 to battle but free to spectate!

On top of live performances and artwork, guests will also have the opportunity to enjoy food trucks, family-friend activities, and peruse goods from an incredible team of vendors. Jersey Fresh Jam is known for curating the best of the best on the East Coast, and with this year’s incredible lineup, there’s no doubt that 2023 will be the best year yet.
