If you’re ready to start your health journey but unsure where to begin, you’re in luck! The Henry J. Austin Health Center recently announced its upcoming Community Health Fair, and it’s coming your way this August 10th.

An afternoon of health, happiness, and fun is coming to the community on Thursday, August 10th. Henry J. Austin Health Center’s Community Health Fair will be held from 3 pm to 6 pm at Monument Park, 321 N Warren Street, Trenton, NJ 08618. This event is held in honor of National Health Week, a nationwide initiative to get communities connected with health, wellness, and resources to help them thrive. Guests of all ages are invited to participate in the fun, so bring the whole family to celebrate health. Attendees can access several activities and resources throughout the afternoon, including health screenings, wellness activities, and more.

Some highlights of the afternoon include:

• Zumba class at 3:30 pm
• Beginners yoga at 4:30 pm
• Naloxone training
• Live entertainment by DJ Special K
• Catering from Trenton’s The Big Easy
• Children’s games and crafts

A true community endeavor, this event would not be possible without the support of several partner organizations, including LALDEF, Trenton Health Team, NJ Human Services, Isles, NJ Dept. of Health, Artworks, and so many more. Together, these partners are coming to share their time, expertise, and resources so that residents of Trenton can walk away empowered and ready to prioritize their health.
