New Jersey State Library to Host “5 Money Questions for Women” Webinar
Attention all ladies! If you’re looking to learn more about your finances in 2023, the New Jersey State Library is here to show you the ins and outs of savvy financial planning.
On Friday, March 3rd, the New Jersey State Library will be hosting a webinar exploring the importance of financial planning, specifically tailored to the needs of women. This virtual course will be held from 12:00-1:00pm via Zoom. If you’re interested in attending, you can register for the seminar here: Register – Zoom, NJSL.
Many women often find themselves faced with difficult financial decisions that may not be fully addressed or understood by conventional financial planning resources. As a matter of fact, only 51% of women confidently feel that they have saved enough for retirement, versus 68% of their male counterparts. Women also face unique challenges including caregiving for aging parents and children’s schedules, which can further impede women’s ability to accumulate wealth for retirement. To help address this need and bridge the gap in financial confidence, Gerard Raho, Financial Advisor with Edward Jones, will equip you with all the tools you need to help meet your financial goals.
Gerald Raho comes to the seminar with 20-plus years of experience in financial planning. He spends his days as an Edward Jones financial planner serving the Morris County and NY Metro areas. After getting to know his clients’ most pressing needs, he tailors custom-made strategies to help individuals meet their goals. He earned an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Syracuse University. This webinar is in wonderful hands, so you are certain to walk away with a greater sense of confidence regarding your own money moves.
Women and wealth is a critical conversation in the modern era. According to Morgan Stanley, women have historically been treated as a niche population in financial planning services. In spite of this, women today are often the head of their family’s financial decisions and hold the majority of consumer spending power. Services tailored towards the needs of women are well overdue, but thankfully women in today’s marketplace can access the tools they need to make their financial dreams a reality. If you’re a woman who is unsure of where to start on this journey, rest assured knowing that there are resources available to address your specific needs, challenges, and goals.
This informative webinar is hosted by the New Jersey State Library, an incredible resource for educational opportunities in the Garden State.
