Join Trenton Trenton Friends Meeting House This Weekend for An Egg Hunt
Join the Trenton Friends Meeting House for a free kid’s egg hunt on the meeting house grounds, Saturday, April 2nd, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Kids of all ages are welcome to join in on the fun hunting for hidden eggs, rain or shine. Golden eggs will be stashed away in tricky places for expert hunters to uncover! Egg baskets, snacks, and outdoor games and crafts will be provided.
This event is part of the Trenton Friends First Day School spring program. First Day School is the Quaker equivalent to Sunday School or during worship childcare. At the Trenton Friends Meeting, first day school classes consist of student-led learning with a focus on building foundational qualities, like moral reasoning, integrity, equality, stewardship and community.
First Day School is open for all ages and takes place at 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on the 2nd and 4th Sunday each month. First Day School is taught by Graham Apgar and Aine Mickey. Both FDS instructors are registered and approved childcare providers with our governing body, Philadelphia Yearly Meeting and are routinely background checked.
