TDA Seeks Community Volunteers to Paint Rainbow Crosswalk

The Trenton Downtown Association (TDA) is seeking volunteers to repaint the capital city’s iconic rainbow crosswalk. All volunteers are welcome on Sunday, August 8, begin at 10 a.m.

Located at Warren and Front Street, the Rainbow Crosswalk was originally painted during the city’s first Ciclovia for Trenton’s 2019 Pride Festival. Since, the colors have faded and are in need of retouching.

Since the crosswalk is already painted and the faint colors are still visible, taping and filling in the fresh colors of the rainbow will be a breeze! TDA encourages the city to come out, have some fun with paint and show support for Trenton’s downtown. Interested? RSVP @ https://www.trenton-downtown.com/contact.

This upgrade is made possible by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, the Levitt Foundation, Trenton Health Team, City of Trenton, Leon Rainbow and volunteers.

If you have any questions, email Trenton Downtown Association at info@trenton-downtown.com.
