Trenton Voters Marched to the Ballot Box
On October 24, 2020, Trentonians took to the streets and marched to the ballot box to submit their vote for this year’s presidential election.
The community gathered at the Trenton War Memorial to hear words from notable Trenton officials such as Mayor Reed Gusciora, County Clerk, Paula Sollami Covello, Assemblywoman Verlina Reynolds-Jackson and Commissioner Samuel Frisby along with the March organizers Bernard McMullan of the Trenton Council of Civic Associations and Crystal Feliciano, North Ward District 5 Committeewoman.
Various community members took part in the briefing to exclaim their views on the importance of voting including first time voter Darrin Clark of the Trenton Central High School Graduate Class of 2020; senior advocate Hazel Stewart; reentry advocate Donate Thomas; president of the Latino Merchants Association Manuel Hernandez; and East Ward committeewoman Tai Terry Wilson.
