The Boys and Girls Club of Mercer County Announces 9th Annual Run for Club Kids

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Mercer County (BGC Mercer) is lacing up for its 9th annual Run for Club Kids, acommunity celebration that blends fitness, family fun, and philanthropy.

On Saturday, November 1, 2025, Club supporters will join hundreds of runners and walkers at the MeadowsMiler, hosted by the Princeton Child Development Institute (PCDI) at Rosedale Park in Pennington, N.J.

This is no ordinary fundraiser. The morning is packed with activities for all ages—1-mile fun run, 5k, and 10k races—plus a kids’ activity zone, vendor village, and free food from Nomad Pizza and other local favorites.

Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or prefer to participate virtually with a custom team event, there’s a way for everyone to get involved.

“The Run for Club Kids is about more than miles—it’s about impact,” said Reginald J. Coleman, CEO of BGC Mercer and proud race participant. “Every step helps fuel programs that inspire healthy living, guide teens toward college and careers, and give young people the mentoring and opportunities they need to succeed.”

Proceeds from the event directly support BGC Mercer’s transformative youth programs—including Career Launchclasses, college access initiatives, mentoring, and health and wellness education—that serve more than 700 local youth annually.

All participants will receive a commemorative race T-shirt, and top fundraisers will take home exclusive BGC Mercer swag. Most importantly, every participant will know they’ve helped open doors to great futures for local kids.
