RAM Seeking Volunteers for Free, 2-day Vision Clinic in Trenton, New Jersey in November
Call for vision professional volunteers for free, pop-up vision clinic coming to Martin Luther King, Jr. Middle School on November 8-9
Remote Area Medical (RAM®) a leading nonprofit provider of pop-up clinics delivering free, quality dental, vision, and medical care to those in need – is seeking volunteer vision professionals and general support staff for its November8-9 clinic. The two-day clinic is to be held at Martin Luther King, Jr Middle School, located at 401-411 Brunswick Ave, Trenton, NJ. This clinic is in collaboration with Kinder Smile and Mercer Street Friends.
RAM is also in need of general support volunteers to help set up on Friday, November 7 and take down on Sunday, November 9. Overnight parking volunteers to greet patients are also needed, and interpreters can volunteer to aidpatients through the process, either in the parking lot or during clinic operations. Individuals do not need to work in the medical field to volunteer as general support.

RAM’s free clinics are a lifeline for underserved communities, offering free eye exams, eye health exams, eyeglassprescriptions, and eyeglasses made on-site. By bringing healthcare directly to those in need, RAM removes the barriers of cost and distance that often prevent people from seeking care.
All RAM services are free, and no ID is required. Free vision services will be provided on a first-come, first- served basis, until capacity is reached.
