Applications For the Trenton Arts Fund Now Open

The Trenton Arts Fund is dedicated to supporting Trenton’s arts organizations and artists – both emerging and established – while working to preserve the history and culture of the extraordinary Trenton community.  Working in partnership with the Princeton Area Community Foundation, the fourth round of grants has just opened and will fund Trenton arts, arts education, culture, and history organizations with grants ranging from $1,000 to $5,000. TAF believes that the arts, culture and history are key to the health of a community and bring enrichment and revitalization to the residents of Trenton and the region.  TAF is especially committed to providing meaningful and transformative experiences for Trenton’s young people and families.

Since its inception in 2018, the Trenton Arts Fund has given out more than $82,000 to thirteen different Trenton arts, culture and history organizations.  The amount that the Fund grants each year totals 50% of donations received.  The remainder is added to the endowment so that TAF can accomplish its goals of providing immediate support as well as building an endowment for the long-term vitality of Trenton arts, culture and history organizations and our local artists.

To accelerate endowment growth, the founders of the Trenton Arts Fund, John Hatch and David Henderson, announced that they are making a $250,000 donation to the Fund’s endowment.  To support our 2024 grant cycle, we are now seeking additional donations to support the Trenton Arts Fund’s work.  To make a donation, click on the link to our website:  https://pacf.org/trenton-art-fund-giving-page/.

The Trenton Arts Fund is a donor-advised fund supported and managed by The Princeton Area Community Foundation.
