On Saturday, September 21st, nature loves from across the Trenton community gathered alongside the banks of the Delaware River for the 2024 installment of Trenton River Days. The day’s events challenged guests to see the river for more than just its natural beauty, highlighting the waterway’s historical, cultural, and recreational benefits. In cultivating a curiosity and care for the world around us, visitors young and old can begin to embrace their role as protectors of the Delaware River. Throughout the afternoon, guests had the opportunity to choose from a whole host of hands-on activities, including canoeing, fly-fishing, hayrides, educational games, crafts, and more. Guests also had the opportunity to enjoy up-close encounters with many of the critters which call the Delaware River home. An informative, fun, and memorable day for all, the 2024 installment of Trenton River Days proved to be the very best one yet.

Trenton River Days, hosted by The Watershed Institute, is a beloved yearly tradition which challenges Trentonians and members of the surrounding communities to make stewarding the Delaware Watershed a part of our daily lives.
