The City of Trenton recently announced that the city’s Teen Afterschool Program would once again be returning for the 2024-2025 school year. This program, which is available to Trenton students ages 13 to 18, offers students a fun and free environment to kick off the conclusion of their school day and continue to learn long after the school day has concluded. The program will run from September 9th to June 20th at a variety of recreational centers throughout the community. Families are welcome to enroll at a number of locations, including:
- Sam Naples Center: 611 Chestnut Ave., Trenton, NJ 08611

Afterschool programming will be available to teens Monday through Friday from 6pm to 8pm. If you are a parent or guardian and are interested in enrolling your child, please stop by one of the recreation centers listed above in order to pick up and drop off your application. At the time of your application, parents must provide a copy of your child’s birth certificate, as well parental ID which matches the child’s birth certificate.
