End of Summer Extravaganza Coming to the Capital City

On Friday, August 23rd, the City of Trenton invites you to be a part of this year’s End of Summer Extravaganza. This free and family-friendly afternoon of entertainment is the perfect opportunity to squeeze in a few extra drops of summer fun before the season is officially behind us. This year’s festivities will take place from 12pm to 3pm at Cadwalader Park, located at 36 Parkside, Trenton, NJ 08618. When you arrive at the park, please be sure to make your way to the blacktop area, where the afternoon’s activities will be taking place. This extravaganza features hands-on events for every member of the family, so be sure to bring out your whole crew for one final taste of the summer season.

At the End of Summer Extravaganza, guests can look forward to participating in a whole host of activities, including:

  • Music
  • A petting zoo
  • Face painting
  • Color run
  • Food

And much more! This afternoon of excitement is a wonderful way to get outside, connect with fellow members of your community, and take some time to appreciate what this special summer season is all about. As the Capital City concludes one of its very best summers yet, you won’t want to miss out in being a part of the family fun.

This celebration of summertime is presented by the City of Trenton’s Department of Recreation, Natural Resources, and Culture.
