Lunch and Learn at the William Trent House

The opportunity to learn is abounding all around us. Rather than something confined to a textbook or a classroom, when we fully engage with the world around us, we are presented with plentiful opportunities to expand our knowledge, wisdom, and perspectives. While there’s no doubt that our day to day lives are jam-packed with obligations, duties, and deadlines which we must meet, we all have the power to take even a few moments of our time to dedicate to our own personal development. When we invest just a bit of time in our minds, it can cause a ripple effect which ruminates throughout the remainder of our lives. For those seeking to make their lunch break more than just a time to lounge around, the William Trent House Museum invites you to this summer’s lunch and learn initiative.

All summer long, the William Trent House Museum invites visitors from throughout the community to break bread and embrace a bit of education along the way. Wednesday and Thursdays, now through September 26th, the William Trent House Museum will be opening its grounds for their lunch and learn initiative, a wonderful resource for those looking for more from their mid-day breaks. Visitors are welcome to visit the grounds from 11am to 4:30pm. The William Trent House Museum is located right outside of Downtown Trenton at 15 Market St, Trenton, NJ 08611. For those planning on driving, there are plenty of free spots in the lot directly adjacent to the museum.

During Lunch and Learn hours, guests are welcome to bring a meal to enjoy on the picturesque and stately grounds of the William Trent House Museum. There are plenty of picnic tables available in the shade, offering guests an assortment of seating throughout the property grounds. Once you’ve had a chance to enjoy your lunch, feel free to pop by the museum’s Visitor Center, where museum staff will be happy to walk you through further details about the property and answer any questions that you may have regarding the house and its history. The museum building itself is currently closed for tours during renovation; that said, there is still plenty for guests to explore in the visitor center, as well as outdoors on the property’s stunning estate.
