Attention all teens! Are you looking for a summer filled with memories, laughs, and even a bit of learning along the way? If so, look no further than the City of Trenton’s Summer Teen Program for your very best season yet!

Beginning on July 15th, the City of Trenton will be hosting its annual Summer Teen Program, a beloved yearly tradition for youth in the Capital City. The activities planned for this fun and free program offers teens the opportunity to enjoy an enriching and educational summer season with peers and members of their community. The program is open to youth ages 13 through 18 years old who currently reside in the City of Trenton. The Summer Teen Program will be available to families Monday through Friday from 5pm to 8pm. The first day of programming will begin on Monday, July 15th and conclude on Friday, August 23rd. The Summer Teen Program will be offered to Trenton families at the following locations:

• Sam Naples Community Center: 611 Chestnut Ave, Trenton, NJ 08611
• West Ward Recreation Center: 351 Prospect St, Trenton, NJ 08618

Participants are welcome to choose which location is most convenient for their family and enroll accordingly.

Throughout the summer, students will have the opportunity to participate in a jam-packed schedule of trips, educational workshops, and plenty of fun and games along the way. Some of the planned activities for this year’s festivities include field trips, swimming, and even cooking lessons to learn how to whip up some tasty summer grub. From vital life skills to immersive hands-on experiences and more, this program is certain to help the teen in your life to forge connections, friendships, and memories to last a lifetime.

The Summer Teen Program is presented by the City of Trenton’s Department of Recreation, Natural Resources, and Culture. Summer is a cherished season here in the Capital City, and this department has come prepared with engaging and exciting activities for every member of the family. A sample of some of the programming planned for this upcoming summer includes block parties, youth programming, a summer concert series, movies under the stars, and more.
