Accessing Aging Assistance With the NJ State Library

More than just a phase of life or a year on the calendar, the process of aging is a badge of honor to be worn by those whose hard work and wisdom has brought them to their golden years. There is much to be learned from our older population: from life’s hard lessons to the knowledge of years gone by, our elders are a precious resource to be cherished, respected, and uplifted. Here in the Garden State, we take great pride in our older population by providing a number of key resources to help New Jerseyans age with dignity within their communities. To learn more about the abundance of options available to New Jersey’s aging residents, please be sure to join the New Jersey State Library for their next upcoming webinar, “NJSave/GetSetUp Basics: Resources for Older New Jerseyians”.

On Wednesday, June 12th, the New Jersey State Library will be hosting an informative webinar which will illuminate some of the myriad resources offered by the New Jersey Division of Aging Services. Guests will have the opportunity to learn more regarding federal- and state-assisted programs and services which can aid recipients with day-to-day tasks, needs, and even educational programs. Your host for the afternoon will be Neil Borenstein, a representative for the New Jersey Division of Aging Services. In his day to day, Mr. Borenstein helps to raise awareness among various stakeholders about programs and services available to older adults, individuals with disabilities, and caregivers throughout the State of New Jersey.
