Overcoming Imposter Syndrome with the NJ State Library
Insecurity is an unavoidable part of human nature. Even if we’ve passed the tests and aced the exams, sometimes it’s hard to convince ourselves of our own capabilities. This phenomena is known as imposter syndrome, which the dictionary defines as “the persistent inability to believe that one’s success is deserved or has been legitimately achieved as a result of one’s own efforts or skills.” While a common affliction, this pesky syndrome can put a serious dim on our ability to shine. Stepping away from self-doubt and into self-assurance, while a difficult journey, can fundamentally transform the way we view both ourselves and the world around us. If you’re ready to enter the workplace with newfound confidence, the New Jersey State Library has you covered with their latest upcoming webinar.
