CURE Insurance Arena to Welcome the Harlem Globetrotters

With the Harlem Globetrotters in town, you’re certain to have a slam dunk of a night!

The Harlem Globetrotters are making their way to the CURE Insurance Arena this upcoming February. On February 18th, 2023, the world-famous hoopsters will play a 2:00pm game as well as a 7:00pm game. If you’re interested in attending, tickets can be purchased online here: Tickets – Globetrotters. Tickets range in price from $20-$110 not including any applicable fees, etc.. Doors will open at 1:00pm for the day game and 6:00pm for the evening game.

Aside from general admission, guests will also have the option to purchase a Magic Pass add-on. With the Magic Pass, guests have an opportunity to hit the court to show off your own basketball skills, shoot some hoops, and get player autographs and photos. The 30-minute pre-game experience offers fans a one-of-a-kind encounter with one of basketball’s favorite teams. Other additional add-ons include:

  • Behind the Court Meet & Greet: Fans can meet the players and get 1 on 1 interaction with the stars of the show. Guests can enjoy behind-the-scenes action, exclusive photo opportunities with players, and more. Fans must check in by 1:00pm for the day game and 6:00pm for the evening game to participate.
  • Celebrity Court Pass: The Celebrity Court Pass allows fans to enjoy a 1 on 1 center court warm-up with the Harlem Globetrotters. Guests can enjoy unrivaled access to the center-court action, enjoy an interactive experience with the entire Globetrotters team, and snag some awesome on-court photo opportunities. Check-in time for this experience is by 1:00pm for the day game or 6:00pm for the evening game.

For this world tour, the Harlem Globetrotters will be facing down against the Washington Generals, another exhibition basketball team in the league. With the competition heating up, both teams are certain to give it their all in this epic showdown. Fans can enjoy moves like the Globetrotter’s signature 4-point shot, heart-pounding flips and tricks, as well as some all-new antics to try to gain the advantage in this head-to-head battle.

The Harlem Globetrotters represent over 90 years of family fun and iconic entertainment. Since their founding in 1926, the Globetrotters have been an esteemed group globally. Following their 1951 performance at Berlin’s Olympic Arena, the United States State Department declared that the team were “ambassadors of extraordinary goodwill”. The team has also received accolades from both President Dwight D. Eisenhower as well as President Gerald Ford regarding their commitment to serving mankind world-wide. In 1993, Mannie Jackson, a former Globetrotter, purchased the team, signifying the first African-American to own an international sports and entertainment organization. Since day one, the Globetrotters have been making history, and they show no signs of slowing down anytime soon.

The Globetrotters have a long legacy of entertaining statesmen, royalty, and presidents all over the world.
