New Trenton Animals Rock Resource Aims to Reduce Animal Abuse

Trenton Animals Rock (TAR) established a resource page to assist the community with information on what to do when finding a dog or cat that is strayed, injured, in need of surrender or is confronted with other threatening situations. Visit https://tarnj.org/help to learn more.

For instance, if you find a stray dog or cat, TAR recommends: “If it is Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., to please call Animal Control at 609-989-3254. If it is after those hours, or a weekend, please call Trenton PD’s non-emergency line at 609-989-4000. If you cannot get in touch with anyone, please do not give the animal away to another person. Please try to hold the animal in a safe place until you can reach either Animal Control or Trenton PD.”

“We have seen so many animals being abandoned with injuries and we just want the community to know how to reach us and when,” said Danielle Gletow, Founder of One Simple Wish & Trenton Animals Rock.
