Residential Study
in 2018, Greater Trenton and the Trenton Parking Authority co-sponsored a residential market study conducted by Zimmerman/Volk Associates, Inc. in conjunction with the City of Trenton and Mercer County to determine the market potential and optimum market position for newly-introduced housing units that could be developed within the Downtown Trenton Study Area.
The study determined that there is unmet market demand to support up to 760 new residential units including 600 rental apartments, 80 for sale condominiums and 80 rowhouse/townhouses over the next five years.
